A real estate investor with Alberk Properties, Nate Brown works closely with banks to purchase REO homes for the company's multi-million-dollar asset portfolio, which includes a significant number of affordable homes for sale and rent. Nate Brown has been with the North Carolina-based agency since 2003, but he has had other business endeavors. From 2009 to 2016, he served as owner of the Auto House dealership, which had locations in both Mooresville and Salisbury, NC. He started the company in 2009 out of a double-wide trailer, and, at its height, Auto House employed over 150 individuals and brought in more than $100 million in annual revenue.

In addition to his work with the Salisbury, NC, dealership and other ventures, Mr. Brown worked briefly as a commercial collector and internal auditor for Carolina Digestive Health Associates. He also stands out as a former professional soccer player who played in Italy and England. He completed the MBA program at Catawba College, where he was a Dean's list graduate and treasurer of the Phi Sigma Epsilon fraternity. Before graduating in 2008, he spent a semester studying abroad in Costa Rica and volunteered with home-building projects.
